Getting started
What is CleanDriver?
CleanDriver connects festival-goers who can't drive with sober, vetted drivers who get you — and your own car — safely out of the festival parking (the "blue zone") and home.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It runs in your browser. On your phone you can tap "Add to Home Screen" to get an app icon — and then it even opens without signal.
How do I sign in?
Tap "Sign in" and use your Google account. It's quick and secure — you only ever see your own listings and messages.
Which festivals are covered?
90+ across Europe. Pick yours from the dropdown when browsing or posting. Missing one? Tap "➕ Add a festival" and it appears for everyone.
Finding a ride (for festival-goers)
How do I find a driver?
Go to Browse, pick your festival, and you'll see the sober drivers available with their night and price. Tap Book on the one you like.
How do I talk to a driver?
After booking you chat right inside the app to agree where to meet. Tip: set a meeting point at the top of the chat — it's saved on your phone so you find each other even if signal drops.
No driver listed for my festival?
Check back later — new drivers list themselves throughout the night. You can also add your festival so drivers can find it.

How do I become a clean driver?
Tap Offer to drive, choose your festival and night, and set your price. Your listing goes live instantly and festival-goers can book you.
Does it cost me anything to post a ride?
No — posting a ride is free. You keep your full fare.
How do I get paid?
The rider pays your fare directly to you — in cash or your preferred payment option. CleanDriver never touches your fare.
Costs & payments
What does CleanDriver cost?
A €2/month membership for access (cancel anytime), plus a small €2 booking fee when a rider connects with a driver. The ride fare itself is separate and paid directly to the driver.
How do I pay?
Membership and the booking fee are paid securely in-app (PayPal, card, iDEAL, Bancontact & more). The driver's fare you settle directly — cash or your preferred method.
How do I cancel my membership?
Open the menu (top-right) → Membership → Cancel membership. You keep access until the month you've paid for ends — no lock-in.
Safety
Is it safe?
You stay with your car the whole time — the driver takes you and your vehicle together. Always confirm the driver's details and agree a clear meeting point before you set off.
Any tips for a smooth pickup?
Set a specific meeting point (e.g. "Blue Zone entrance, row P") and time in the chat, and add a fallback phone number. It's all saved on your phone so it works offline.

The internet is terrible on-site — will it still work?
Yes. Add CleanDriver to your home screen and it opens and works offline. Your last-loaded drivers and chats stay visible.
What happens if I send a message with no signal?
It's saved and shows "⏳ waiting for signal…", then sends automatically the moment you get a bit of reception. You don't have to do anything.
How do I make sure we find each other offline?
Agree a meeting point + time (and a fallback phone) in the chat while you still have signal — it's stored on your phone and stays visible even with zero connection.
